    This park offers 150+ acres for recreation, including a 6,200-sq. ft. outdoor swimming pool with 1-meter diving well and slide. The newly expanded Gurney Lane Mountain Bike Park provides over 13 miles of single- and double-track trails.
  2. Feeder Canal

    This 5-acre park is made possible by an agreement between Erie Blvd. Hydropower, The Feeder Canal Alliance and the Town of Queensbury. The department maintains this park which allows access to the 7-mile trail from Feeder Dam to the Old Champlain Canal.

    This half-acre park is located adjacent to the Docksider Restaurant. Parking is limited. Trailers of any kind/size and swimming are prohibited. No motorized boats.
  4. Halfway Brook Trail

    Halfway Brook Trail is a 1.2-mile pathway that travels through the Glens Falls City Watershed Property, locally known as “Potter’s Woods.” This trail is the result of many years of cooperative discussions and then finally an agreement between the City of Glens Falls and the Town of Queensbury to allow public access for passive recreation.

    This 10-acre urban park is located between Lafayette Street and Glenwood Avenue and offers many opportunities for active and passive recreation.
  6. Hudson Pointe Nature Preserve

    This 83-acre nature preserve was acquired and built by the Open Space Institute. Part of the Hudson Pointe Development, it offers a series of marked trails with scenic views of the Hudson River. Camping, swimming, motorized vehicles prohibited.
  7. Ridge/Jenkinsville Park

    This 80-acre park is home to a variety of sports leagues that service adult softball leagues as well as youth soccer and lacrosse club teams.
  8. Meadowbrook Preserve

    This 54-acre preserve provides a wonderful 1.75-mile trail system beginning in the meadow and looping through the woods and back into the meadow. Along the trail, twelve nature education signs will share habitat information for preserve visitors (signs provided by Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District).     This 44-acre was donated by Carl and Barbara DeSantis and offers access to a 6-mile stretch of the Hudson River. Swimming prohibited.
  10. Rush Pond Trail

    Rush Pond Trail is a 2.6-mile long pathway through the heart of the Rush Pond wetlands and is the culmination of over ten years of work by Councilman John Strough. This byway is a link between the Gurney Lane Recreation Area, neighborhoods within the Aviation Road corridor and the Queensbury School campus trail system. There are three hand-constructed bridges along the trail, the largest offering scenic views of the wetlands and stream life. Camping, swimming, motorized vehicles prohibited.
